In order to distract you from the fact that I can't do artwork, I bring another journal! Whee. Convention is going to be gloriously fun, espicially with the gaming tournaments and the traders room and the fun and the pocky and the ramune. Oh yes, the ramune. *drool* The trader's room.....yes....a veritable clump of the most godly things you can possibly get. At AN 2006 I WAS supposed to buy puyo pop, from this store called Iceman games.

Now, this story deserves a paragraph on its own. You see, my friend Sandro had some monies to buy swag with in the trading room. And Super Mario Sunshine had caught his eye, for he likes the shinies. He had payed for the game and left for the rest of the day. We had done some interesting things, like go to the SSBM tournie only to be declined by a fat bearded man in a Princess Peach costume. Oh was that a sight to behold. We had finally sat down and checked out little stash of swag from the day and when Sandro had opened the Super Mario Sunshine case, there was no game there. The profanity was spewed generously, with some words I had never even heard before. Me and my other friend Marco watched in awe as Sandro let out a stream of profanity on the masses.

Afterwards, we had gone into the trader's room to find that it was closing, and that we had to leave. We explained the situation to the people at the convention gate, and afterwards had been escorted by quite possibly the most apathetic and exhausted person I had ever seen. I suppose warding off the hoards of the Naruto cosplays will do that to you. We had reached the Iceman video game stand only to find that the people had left the scene of the scam. The man who escorted us was kind enough to send us the game if he were able to resolve the situation and get the game for my fuming friend. Now, his prospect wasn't that convincing at all, through all the sigh's and the thoughts of "Damned pissy kids, just go away before I stab your eyes out with this figurine of some sort of large breasted anime character I bought". Sure enough, the pissy hippy came through and actually sent the game to Sandro's house. The game arrived, but never actually worked.

And if you can listen carefully, you can still hear him cursing Iceman games.

And whatever happened to Puyo pop? I left the stall for five freaking minutes, and the game was gone. No matter, it would have probably exploded on me and left me a note on a silver platter saying to buy more merchandise from Iceman Games.
